I feel deprived. Deprived of basic human connections. I want friends. Some friends. Friends who I can talk to. This blog series documents my journey towards ending this state of deprivation which is plaguing my work since months.

For a quick start, I decided to join some local communities in Delhi. I am already a part of OpenStreetMap Delhi, but those meetups happen only once a month, which makes it very difficult to nurture those connections (if I am able to create them in the first place). I have now spotted some other communities where I should be able to find new people.

The first one is HochPoch Delhi, a group of 2 people who organize meetups every Wednesday. They hangout in art galleries, museums, and cafes. They seem pretty chill, and I hope to meet some cool people there.

The second one is Lodhi Reads, who meet every Saturday at Lodhi Gardens to read books in silence. This seriously sounds like heaven to me.

I will write about my experience at these two places in Part 2. Hopefully it would be nice.
